Photography

I love to photograph the fascinating world of seaweeds, whether it's the entire plant or its parts. Recently, I've been inspired by the intriguing mark-making of Guido Strazza, which has sparked my creativity and led me to explore more abstract forms in my photography. Each shot reveals new layer of beauty in these ocean beings!

My entries for the Moving Image exhibition in The Projection Room, Paignton from October 24th to 29th 2025.

I have interpreted 'moving image' poetically rather than literally because the era represented in images and films of the original Paignton Picture House where these films were used and will be stored, has gone.  We can dream and reminisce about it and we can feel moved and perhaps nostalgic about it but we must now create our own images and films which may move some people one day.
